Pete Bartlett

Coach Pete came across "the pond" to impart his special brand of humor-laced soccer to a new constituency here in the colonies. A semi-pro back home, Coach Pete has had to put his playing career on hold while strengthening his oft-repaired surgical knee (now his shoulder is creaky).  At Santa Monica United he is the coach of the U12 B96 team that just captured State Cup (and is moving to Silver Elite) and his U12 B96 Blue team made it to the quarterfinals.  Pretty stellar.  His U14G Cyclones are poised to make a run at the Silver title this fall.  His Tuesday evening "Fearless Footwork" clinics are catching on all over the Westside.  And in his spare time, after coaching our classes all week, Pete manages to assist with the Buckley School Boys' Varsity soccer squad.  He is a mad favorite of our junior set who race around the field happily kicking goals while trying to decipher what "fahster" means (we think it's British for "faster" but we're not quite sure).
