Christian Chambers

Director of Athletics and Instruction

Coach Christian is like the Pied Piper.  Wherever he goes there's a trail of soccer ball-juggling kids behind him.  A former semi-pro player for Weymouth Town, a UEFA-credentialed coach and a certified physical education instructor, Christian has prodigious skills and the rare ability to impart them. All who have stepped onto the soccer field with him have come away better players with a greater appreciation of the game. Currently the coach of three Galaxy Alliance club teams:  U17 B94 Black (Premier), the U14 B94 White (Silver) and the just formed U11 B00 Black (Bronze), Christian looks forward to the challenges of the upcoming season. 

Over the past three years Christian has also developed soccer programs and run clinics for the players and coaches of AYSO Region 69 and Galaxy Alliance SC.   During the summer he is a ubiquitous presence at camp, directing the coaches, cajoling the kids and ensuring a marvelous experience for all. 

Beneath his easy-going and gregarious exterior, Christian harbors a guilty pleasure. He is a big fan of Kabadi, the national game of Bangladesh, a cross between Red Rover and tackle football. A deeper secret is his true reason for coming to America: peanut butter. He just can't get it at home. Whatever. We're just happy he's here.
